HeY, i’m Renee

here’s my story

chapter 1:  at age five, i wrote my first petition and campaigned door-to-door when my neighbor set out to cut down my favorite oak tree on the block.

chapter 2: won an award for having the best poem in the whole fourth grade, titled “Red, Yellow, Green.” my teacher thought it was about fall. it was about boogers.

chapter 3: following my poetic calling, i jumped head first into the new york city advertising scene after college, writing cheeky tweets for big brands and living in a one bedroom apartment with two roommates.

chapter 4:  a tale as old as time; the quarter-life crisis. in my version, i accidentally move across the country, leading to a life of slinging drinks at ski resorts, guiding whitewater raft trips and playing in the mountains.

chapter 5: settled in bend, oregon, where i found my words again. now my writing tells meaningful stories, and i continue playing in the mountains.
